By supporting the so called Waweru, Mt. Kenya has given Dr. Kidero an easy ride for his second term. Of course Waweru will get the Okuyu votes in Nairobi and that is where it ends. Unlike the presidency where the partnership between Kalenjins and Okuyus brings forth a formidable tyranny, in Narobi, its a different kettle of fish.
We have only one Kalenjin in Narobi, that is, William Ruto and he doesn't even vote here. Kalenjins in Narobi are either students or visitors who come to see KICC and Ruto's office before they go back to the village. They don't have a taste for Nairobi.
And without mincing words, Sonko would beat Waweru and become number two. I also maintain that Kidero is the only man who can beat Mt. Kenya stooges and their allies in Narobi governorship. He has money, has learnt the game, he is not stingy and can be thuggish when situation demands - which is important in politics.
Luos shouldn't dare replace him with anyone. If this is done, we will miss the governorship just as losing the presidency is imminent. Even if he has performed below par, methink its better to...
